About the position:

This is a full-time Bargaining Support Officer position reporting to the Associate Dean for Academic Services for 24 hours per week at $24.43 per hour.

The successful candidate will provide individual, small group and laboratory instruction to students by appointment or drop-in.

Special areas of responsibility:

• Leads and supervises mentors working in a laboratory environment
• Assist the guidance specialist in planning and organizing laboratory exercises, training new teachers and scheduling mentors.
• Communicate with faculty to keep you informed of program/course expectations
• Maintain a flow of communication with faculty to suggest new initiatives and advise on any issues/concerns that arise in the lab environment.
• Manages and creates resources to support PRAC, PSW and BScN students

Qualification:

• 3-year or 4-year post-secondary education or advanced bachelor’s degree in nursing
• Up to 1 year of experience in a teaching or other work-related environment
