General Laborer

Job Description

• Job title: General Manager
• Position type: part-time or full-time
• Location: Grand Falls Fertilizer 

McCain Fertilizer/Produce is currently seeking general staff based at the Grand Falls, NB, Grain location. The selected candidate will report directly to the supervisor and will be responsible for supporting operational activities and ensuring a safe workplace.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ability to work in a team with minimal supervision
• Oral communication skills.
• It must be done with a sense of urgency.
• The ability to operate a forklift, skid steer, crawler, and ten-wheeler is a plus.
• Willingness and ability to work at height

Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to:

• Promote a safe workplace and promote continuous improvement of occupational safety.
• Assists with preventive maintenance and repair of all equipment and facilities.
• You can work more hours during the busy season (spring and autumn).
• Can carry out safe loading and unloading of railway wagons
• You are willing and able to work outside in various ways as needed.
• It can work in muddy areas.
• May learn separation and cleaning techniques as directed by the supervisor
