Truck drivers drive straight trucks or tractors to move cargo. Requirements and skills
- Proven work experience as a truck driver
- Experience with electronic equipment and software (GPS, AVL units, CB, etc.).
- Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly
- Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving laws and regulations
- No recent moving or driving violations
- Adaptability and foresight to deal with unexpected situations (traffic, weather, etc.).
- Request to submit to drug tests/checks and provide employment references
- Driving school diploma
- A valid driving license for a truck
