About this company:
The design and production company for special events is looking for a warehouse worker. In this position, you will be responsible for the accurate selection, packaging, and disposal of technical equipment for special events. Part of this process includes equipment testing, quality control, and product purity. In addition, in this position, you are responsible for the safe loading and unloading of trucks, inventory management, and transport from locations to suppliers.
We are looking for qualified candidates to join our warehouse department and maintain the integrity of the company brand with cleanliness and good presentation, to maintain your workplace and common areas in the warehouse, and to help with loading and unloading of equipment.
TASK DESCRIPTION:
- Assist the team in selecting, packing, hauling, and moving technical equipment for detailed special events.
- Ability to read detailed lists of technical equipment in a fast-paced work environment.
- Responsible for the delivery and collection of event equipment from venues and suppliers as required.
- It supports the brand integrity, cleanliness, and impeccable presentation of the business.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
- A high school diploma, or GED, is required for this position.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Flexibility to occasionally work late on weekends and holidays.
- At least 1-2 years of experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of light, sound, and video equipment is preferred.
- Experience with soldering, cable termination, and electronics maintenance is helpful.
- Experience and knowledge of power and energy distribution are useful.
WHAT OFFERS:
- This is a part-time position.
- Paid sick leave
- The hourly rate is based on work experience.
- €21 per hour or based on experience
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Frequent bending, lifting, stretching, and reaching, both below the waist and overhead,.
- Ability to push, pull, or lift up to 70 pounds.
- Continuous standing and/or walking without restrictions for up to 10 hours per day.
- Ability to work in an environment that may be noisy, without heat, and without air conditioning.
- Ensure full dexterity of hands and wrists.
